This study includes determination of noise and gaseous pollutants such as CO, CO2, NOx, SOx, H2S, CH4, HCs and O3 also the concentrations of Total hydrocarbon and the aliphatic and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon for soil of ten Locations at West Qurna-2 oil field, southern Iraq. According to Carbon Preference Index (CPI), Pristine/Phytane ratio and Unresolved Complex Mixture (UCM) indicate the source of n-alkanes hydrocarbons that was mainly biogenic and anthropogenic, "while C17 / Pristane and C18 / Phytane Ratios indicate sources of n-alkanes was weathering and oldness of existing petroleum…mehr

According to Carbon Preference Index (CPI), Pristine/Phytane ratio and Unresolved Complex Mixture (UCM) indicate the source of n-alkanes hydrocarbons that was mainly biogenic and anthropogenic, "while C17 / Pristane and C18 / Phytane Ratios indicate sources of n-alkanes was weathering and oldness of existing petroleum in soil". From the LMW/HMW and the PAHs compound ratio such as Phenanthrene/ Anthracene and benzo (a) anthracene/benzo (a) anthracene+chrysene, the PAHs compound drive from pyrogenic sources, while Flouranthene /Pyrene and InP/(InP+BghiP) Ratio was pyrogenic+ petrogenic origin and or petrogenic or pyrogenic and Ant/(Ant+ Phen) Ratio was Pyrolytic sources.
