El Dr. A. K. Kulatunga es profesor titular del Departamento de Fabricación e Ingeniería Industrial de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Peradeniya (Sri Lanka). Es doctor por la Universidad de Tecnología de Sidney (Australia). Es miembro del SETAC del PNUMA sobre la iniciativa del ciclo de vida, del CMILT (Reino Unido), del SMIISE (Estados Unidos) y del MERSCP.
