The research was conducted from October 2016 to February 2017, with the purpose of determining the level of environmental literacy (NAA) of the students of Escuela Secundaria Técnica no. 26 de Bácum, Rio Yaqui, Sonora, in general and by environmental component, in addition, the NAA was obtained by gender and grade in which the students are enrolled. A survey designed at the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE), U.S.A. was used. 234 students participated, of which 123 were female (52.56%) and 111 were male (47.44%).
