Health implications and the deplorable life style of conservancy workers were taken stock of. The U.N initiated Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) as a policy intervention is a blessing in disguise. Estimation made by this study reckoned that the Municipal Corporation of the study area could earn Rs. 2 crore annually by means of treating the waste in reducing methane emission through CDM participation. This book will be of immense use to researchers, policy makers and bureaucrats as well.
