Environmental Education must be intrinsic in educational environment and actions, considering that the educational process is also a political pedagogical act, very important to social development. The assessment of public services sustainability is an important matter due to the relevance and central role of Brazilian governments as major offers of public education. A sustainability label to communicate the public service performance enables disseminated information addressed to service users. However, there is a research shortage on environmental education management indicators, which have allowed a specific sustainability criterion for schools offering public technical education and higher education in Brazil. A serious attitude toward native forests only started in Brazil from the publication of the Forestry Legislation. Although, an overview of environmental degradation has allowed portray in the historical bibliography, the first Forest Code Legislation was enacted in 1934.Despite having lack of respect to the severe legislation, which established protection to some natural resources became a regular occurrence in the Brazilian society.
