Sergey Monakhov was born on May, 5, 1956 in Makhachkala. Dr. Sergey Monakhov has a degree of Candidate of Science in Geography. He is the author and editor of about 150 research papers, including several monographs.Since 2005 Dr. Monakhov has been involved in Coordinating Committee on Hydrometeorology and Pollution Monitoring of the Caspian Sea.
