Ecologically, the environment is the sum of all external conditions and influences affecting the life and development of organism. The davelopment of thermal energy added new pollutants to the environment. The main pollutants of thermal power plant emission are SO2,CO2,NO2,CO,hydrocarbon and fly ash. The study of heavy metal content of fly ash from Singrauli region in India. The ashes were analysed for the presence of heavy metals using atomic absorption spectroscopy. Heavy metals disrupt the metabolic processes of living organism. The presence of Pb ion and other heavy metals in the environment has become a major threat to plant, animal and human life due to their bioaccumulation tendency and toxicity. Here few normal plants and few vegetable plants have been selected for the study of bioaccumulation tendency. Our mesurement showed that uptake of heavy metals by plants of this region how much varries with specific places and type of plants.
