The book deals with Chicken infectious anemia in poultry. Chicken Infectious Anemia (CIA) is a viral disease of young chicken characterized by aplastic anemia and generalized lymphoid atrophy with a concomitant immunosuppression. CIA has been a recurring problem in commercial chickens for a number of years which visually affects young growing chickens between five and twelve weeks of age, causing anemia, muscular hemorrahages and variable mortality. The clinical picture, gross and histopathological lesions, electron microscopic changes were dealt in detail.
