The aim of this book is to address the epidemiological training of medical students in accordance with the doctor's social role. The insufficient theoretical approach to epidemiological training was highlighted and modelled from the existing relationships between the contents of epidemiological training and the context of their training, in correspondence with the social determinants of health, which will allow the graduate to improve their epidemiological performance and thus fulfil the function of promoting health, preventing risks and diseases in the different training scenarios.
