Hal Bennett has earned several degrees throughout his lifetime; the highest standing on being his Doctoral Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, (DMin). He is married to Etta B. Holloway of Bowie, MD and he has three children and he has three grandchildren. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor, at Dulatown Presbyterian Church, Lenoir, NC and is a member of the Western Presbytery of North Caroline (WPNC). Within the Church (PWNC) we are united in faith as one - in the Body of Christ. We have been educated in the Church as a part of its Teachings, Beliefs (Confessions), Events (of the OT and NT) and the Pursuit of Excellence and Truth that have pulled a denomination in opposing directions. Worst, the Church has been complacent with regard to encouraging the eradication of systemic racism among its members that has created a sense of brokenness and powerlessness among people of color; despite the Church's current Faith and Confessional Statements. The Church would rather act as if its unjust, loving actions towards its brothers and sisters (of color) in Christ is merely an unconsciousness bias as oppose to racism.
