Michael Mandelstam worked for ten years at the Disabled Living Foundation, a national voluntary organisation specialising in information about disability equipment. He has also worked for the Social Services Inspectorate at the Department of Health. He is the author of several books including Community Care Practice and the Law, Second edition and An A - Z Community Care Law, both published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers.
