Keisha A. Rivers survived a harrowing Hurricane Katrina experience to become a successful speaker, change agent, and learning leader. She facilitates successful outcomes by equipping people to embrace, manage, and lead through change. Her work centers on three main areas: engagement, learning, and leadership. Keisha has over fifteen years of experience in the strategic consulting and organizational development space. She works with clients in the consumer goods and services, retail, hospitality, government, and education industries. An educator at heart, Keisha focuses her approach on teaching clients to understand and create their own unique vision of success. From there they work together to develop the foundation and framework for processes that will create dynamic, inclusive learning communities and empower their teams to take ownership and lead from within. The goal is not just to achieve outcomes and solve problems, but also to equip her clients to sustain their success. A gifted and engaging international speaker and presenter, Keisha establishes an immediate connection with the audience. In her sessions, participants are transformed from passive recipients of information to active creators of knowledge. Keisha's approach empowers participants to immediately apply concepts and create real¿world solutions. She has presented at conferences and led training for companies across the country. Keisha's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in leadership and development from the University of New Orleans, and a Women's Entrepreneurship Certificate from Cornell University. She is a certified Talent Optimization Leader, Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), and Certified Diversity Executive (CDE). She is a member of the Network of Executive Women, National Diversity Council, and The Society for Diversity. Keisha gives back to the community through her 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The KARS Institute for Learning & Collaboration. The organization provides opportunities for collaboration, training, and development to new and emerging community groups and nonprofits. In her spare time, Keisha enjoys traveling, reading, riding her motorcycle, and exploring new ways of learning, growing, and being.
