Santi Balmes es el cantante y compositor de Love of Lesbian, grupo que se formó en 1997 y con el que suma cuatro discos de oro. En su faceta como escritor ha publicado varios libros, como el cuento infantil Yo mataré monstruos por ti, que ha sido un éxito de ventas y se ha traducido a varios idiomas, la novela humorística ¿Por qué me comprasteis un walkie talkie si era hijo único?, la recopilación de relatos La doble vida de las hadas o el poemario Canción de Bruma, entre otros.
