In August of 2021 the United States of America let down the people of Afghanistan when they chaotically withdrew all troops from the country, allowing the Taliban to regain control after 20 years. This story highlights how a group of retired and non-active veterans were able to organize ground tactics and evacuation schemes to aid the families of the interpreters who supported them during this conflict.
