Susan Bailey Burke earned a degree in English from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. After thirty-eight years of teaching in public elementary schools, Susan retired and began attending workshops at the Christian Writers Conferences in Mount Hermon, CA, where she was trained in non-fiction writing. She and her husband of fifty years spend time volunteering in ministries. Susan walks daily with her ten-year-old goldendoodle, designs and sews quilts, and has weekly visits with her four young grandchildren.
