ESP in Scientific Teaching: A Case Study in Chemistry is a modest work that focuses on the use of technical English in chemistry. This study relies on the model of English for Specific Purspose. This latter, which has been tested in several different universities and teaching structures, has proved its efficiency and success through many decades. The script is subdivided into two main parts; the first one is devoted to the evolution and exposition of different theories of ESP, while the second one is dedicated to the application of ESP in the teaching of chemistry discipline taken as a case study.
