The general context of our scientific quest is that of the rooting of the "historical school of the Congo" as wanted not only by its creators, but also by its continuators: Michel-Marie Dufeil, Théophile Obenga, Abraham Constant Ndinga Mbo, Dominique Ngoïe-Ngalla, etc. The school of the Congo was founded on the idea of the "historical school of the Congo". This approach, which has produced important works on the history of the Congo, is still under construction if we take into account the fields to be investigated, as the work carried out by UNESCO, which has published a General History of Africa, teaches us. Another more general reflection that has strengthened our scientific intuition is the publication by the newspaper Le Monde, in 2009, of an Atlas of migrations, with an evocative subtitle: Les routes de l'humanité. Not surprisingly, in this work, Africa did not receive special attention. To justify this shortcoming, it is once again alleged that there are deficits in the monograph on migration in Africa. He therefore urges that a contribution be made in this field, which appears to be a memorable issue.
