The editor has availed himself of much suggestion, advice, and help from writers and critics in Iasi in making selections. This book includes twenty poets, with roughly ten poems each, a structure similar to the Cluj poets book, TRANSYLVANIAN VOICES, published by the Center for Romanian Studies in 1997, affter which it is modeled. The book includes brief bio-bibliographical notes on all the writers, together with a general introduction for foreign readers.
