This study evaluated the molluscicidal activity of essential oils (EOs) of Syzygium cumini and Hymenaea courbaril.Hydrodistillation was used to extract the EOs. The results showed that both EOs can be used as natural molluscicides in combating the snail that transmits schistosomiasis.
