Forensic anthropology, an applied discipline, is a branch of physical anthropology, it interacts with other disciplines pertaining to the understanding of crime and its investigation. Stature is a descriptive characteristic of an individual, which, after his death in forensic situation, can contribute importantly to his identification. It is possible to estimate, the probable stature of the deceased by assuming that the length of long bones represent a certaln proportion of the total height. The multiplication factors and regression equations were formulated for the stature estimation of the Punjabi females of Delhi and the relationship of various limb bones measurements with the stature was established.
