Autorenporträt
Giovanna Mantegazza nació en Milán y se dedica a la literatura infantil desde 1978. Se inició con traducciones y ediciones de textos destinados a niños y jóvenes para la editorial Piccoli. Con ellos, descubrió su pasión por las rimas y las canciones como medio de estimular el juego, la fantasía y las sonrisas. Desde 1987 es editora de La Coccinella y autora de muchos de los libros que esta editorial publica.
