Deveshi Sharma is a student, author, avid reader, debater, and TED talk speaker. She discovered her passion for writing in 2020, the year of the pandemic. Her debut novel, The Blessed Dream, is a story full of deep secrets, mysteries, compelling characters and captivating events.Deveshi won the 'Gold award' in the very prestigious Queen's Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition held in 2021, and her poetry often gets published in the Dialogue magazine. She is also a regular columnist for several magazines published by her school, the 'Mayo College Girls' School', the eminent boarding school of India.Deveshi belongs to the Ex Duke family, one of the earliest families of prominence invited by the Maharaja of Jaipur 'Sawai Jai Singh II' when the foundation of the city was laid down in 1727. She lives with her parents and brother in a 295 year old ancestral heritage property.
