Some of the challenges are because of inherent behavioral tendencies portrayed by journalist. The decision as to right and wrong depends on individual assessment and judgments. Some of these decisions as laced with patterns of idealism and relativism which are not openly apparent. This study therefore looks at the effects of idealism and relativism on decision making in Kenyan newsrooms. It takes an ethical and professional perspective of the practice of journalism.
