When we look at the world today, we immediately see that there are so many problems that differ every day. These problems of the relationship between man and nature had been forgotten by the traditional society for whom ethics was only about the relationship between man and man; then Jonas resorts to an ethics of responsibility which underlies the relationship between human nature and extra-human nature and that this relationship must extend in time and space. The new concept of responsibility also transcends time: I am not only responsible for my act, but also for what is to be done, for what requires my action. Many have thought that nature must be dominated in order to achieve progress. The domination of nature is a good thing, which, however, pushes nature to react against man and other inhabitants of the earth. Global warming, erosion, desertification, lack of oxygen in the atmosphere, etc. are undoubtedly the consequences of the threats of technology on nature.
