This work is committed to bringing even a beginner in philosophy close to some of the issues he must appreciate to become well cultured in philosophy. This is as it involves axiology - ethics and aesthetics. This, in other words, implies that this work has been structured to be simple and make interesting reading. The issues discussed were approached elementarily but no issue of relevance was neglected. Furthermore, it must be emphasized that this work is actually an expansion and addition to an earlier work titled Introduction to moral Philosophy (2000). This addition became necessary in order to accommodate a wider audience. This expansion was also deemed necessary in order to accommodate in one volume what is thought of as a basic introduction to axiology, which obviously is not very popular among students of philosophy. It is also expected that readers would benefit more having these aspects of philosophy in one volume.
