Autor

Steven Maras is an Associate Professor in Media and Communication at the University of Western Australia. He is the author of Screenwriting: History, Theory, and Practice (2009) and also of Objectivity in Journalism (2013).

Ethics in Screenwriting brings in the perspective of the responsibility the screenwriter has in their narrative. The great aspect of this book is the perspective from different parts of the world, helping open up the perspective of any screenwriter or film academic. Steven Maras also wraps up everything wonderfully into a great thesis that could be taught in any ethics classes or a screenwriting course, because there is a heavy responsibility in the words of a writer, whether they know it or not.
