This is an effort to extract some of the main philosophical positions that currently have an impact on the phenomenon of technology in all fields of activity. Therefore, this text may be useful both for people who, starting in the field of philosophy, are interested in knowing the level and the lines of reflection that have been made around the complex phenomenon of technology; and for those interested in undertaking some purely technological career (engineering students), because it can provide them with conceptual tools, and facilitate a kind of formal location within the set of different human knowledge and practices to their work.
