This analysis aims to provide satisfactory answers to the questions arising from technological practice, with a basic focus on five fundamental areas, namely: ontological aspects of technology, as well as historical, epistemological, social and ethical aspects will be addressed. This is an effort to extract some of the main philosophical positions that currently have an impact on the phenomenon of technology in all fields of activity. Edwin Santana Soriano is a philosophy graduate from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, with studies in Communication and in Pre-University and Technical-Professional Education. He is currently studying the PhD program in Philosophy at the Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, and has published several research articles in scientific journals.
