Media outlets are said to have a crucial role in giving prominence to an issue through their coverage and interpretation. By covering an issue more and by using selected interpretations, the media can influence policy makers and news consumers. Therefore, this study is particularly important in showing the framing methods of those Ethiopian print media. In addition, the raised issue is timely and it is very important to assess and evaluate the coverage of labour migrants and usage of sources in the media on both the private and government owned print media.
