We are moving to a world where youths have greater access to ideas, information and opportunities. Social networks, for more than two decades, has been reshaping the entire existence and behavior of youths' communication. It has reduced the distances, strengthened the relationships, and has increased the volume of communication. This book is an exploration of the ways the Ethiopian youths are using social networks, and how they exploit the opportunities and avert their risks. It is a burning issue and an under-researched problem in a country like Ethiopia. The book has analyzed the age and gender dynamics of youths regarding opportunities and threats of using social networks. The findings reveal that Ethiopian youths are very active in using social networks but, since their association to it is not very old, therefore, the level of expertise is very low. They have huge friends' circle on profile but lesser known to online communities. Posting messages to friends are their dominant activity. The study recommends that the tendency of rushing towards social networks is not advisable rather it should be based on need, privacy, accuracy, respect and utmost care.
