This interdisciplinary collection addresses the position of minorities in democratic societies, with a particular focus on minority rights and recognition. Tariq Modood is Professor of Sociology, Politics and Public Policy and the founding Director of the Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship at the University of Bristol.
Judith Squires is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Politics at the University of Bristol
