The Jatapu tribes are predominately found in hilly zones of Vizianagaram and Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh in South India. They speak their own dialect called 'kui' or 'kuvi' but they commonly speak Telugu. They are closely associated with forest and mostly depends on forests for their food, shelter, medicine, cultivation etc. Present research revels the detailed ethnobotanical practices of Jatapu Tribe.
