The work contributes to the traditional popular rescue of medicinal plants and their registration, thus avoiding the extinction of this knowledge and helping to ensure that this tradition does not come to an end. Thus, transmitting the correct knowledge of how to use medicinal herbs and the ideal preparation of each one.

Maria Vitória Pereira Vicente is currently a student at IFSULDEMINAS - Campus Muzambinho - MG, and intends to work in the medical field. Her interest in medicinal plants arose in 2017, with the aim of preserving knowledge about the healing power of herbs. The project behind this work was presented at the 9th IFSULDEMINAS Scientific Conference.
