Economic valuation of all the 600 ethnobotanical species was carried out to calculate the Total Importance Value (TIV). The indigenous knowledge of the tribal communities must be properly documented and preserved for future generations. This book is useful to the researchers in the fields of Ethnobotany, Ethnomedicine, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy etc.

Dr. J. Suneetha is Reader & HoD of Botany, Govt. College,Rajahmundry. She did her M.Phil.in Cytogenetics and Ph.D.in Ethnobotany from Andhra University and has 12 publications. Prof. T.V.V. Seetharami Reddi guided 34 M.Phil. and 11 Doctoral students in the fields of Cytogenetics and Ethnobtoany with 110 publications and authored 8 books.
