Photograph of each of the plant has also been included to help the readers for correct identification. This volume is the outcome of author s field work conducted in between April 2010 to August 2011 in various places of Assam for the Major Research Project [F. No. 38-145/2009 (SR)] with financial assistance from University Grants Commission, New Delhi, India. It is hoped that the book will serve as the hand book for the students, teachers, researchers and NGOs.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Jitu Buragohain obtained his M.Sc. in Botany from Dibrugarh Universitym Assam in 1990 and Ph. D in 2008 in Plant Biotechnology from Tezpur University, Assam (India). He has published a good number of research papers in national and international journals including Springer and Elsevier.
