Cynthia Panks is retired from the Louisiana School System with twenty years of service. As a Para Professional for Learning disabled students, Title I Reading Assistant, Library Assistant, Media Specialist, School Secretary, and Dance Team Sponsor, her love for teaching and inspiring continued to spark her interest in writing. Writing children's stories has always been a favorite pastime and she now enjoys having more time to create and write. She also stays very busy working at home as a Freelance Video Editor for a New Orleans Film Production Company. She is a proud grandmother ("Mimi") to two sets of beautiful twin girls who are the inspiration for her twin stories. South Louisiana has been her home for over sixty-five years. Living in Slidell, Louisiana on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, just thirty-five miles north of the historical city of New Orleans, her entire family continues to enjoy the scenic bayous and rivers, beautiful southern oaks, tall pine trees, and the fresh ozone air.
