This Study was conducted in South Kordofan State in 33 Outpatient Therapeutic Program sites located in different localities. The aim of this study was to evaluate the Outpatient Therapeutic Programm (OTP) using Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) approach. Methodology used content standard check list, SQUEAC tools and observation to collect data by interviewing nutrition staff, community outreach and volunteers. The study results showed that overall coverage is 60 % for urban OTPs less than Sphere standard 70%. While cure rate in rural is 77% and the default rate is 21%, The staff running OTPs were less than standard in most OTPs (5 per OTP), only 17 OTPs (51.5%) out of 33 has 5 staff in each OTP, most of them (81%) were volunteers, nevertheless key points conclusion highlights in low overall coverage in OTPs located in urban setting (60%) and more than 100% in rural setting due to incorrect targets. Whereas most admitted children (48.9%) referred to OTP as self-referral, which might indicate high awareness among communities.
