The six acid lime cultivars were studied for their vegetative characters, flowering and fruit set, yield components, quality parameters and reaction to canker disease. Similarly the highest number of fruits per tree, fruits yield per tree, fruit diameter, fruit weight, volume of fruit, juice content, total soluble solids, ascorbic acid, chlorophyll, free proline , epicuticular wax and lowest incidence of citrus canker were in cultivar Vikram season I and II.

Dr.M.Kumar is working as Assistant Professor (Horticulture) at Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture. He has Completed B.Sc (Horticulture), M.Sc (Fruit Science) and Ph.D. (Fruit Science) in the year of 2006, 2008 and 2012, in Horticultural College and Research Institute, Periyakulam (TNAU). He has got best PG (M.Sc.) thesis award in 2009 at TNAU.
