The observation of the study indicates that the ethanol extracts of Ixora coccinea possess better anti-inflammatory properties as compare to the water extract. Anti-inflammatory activity may be due to the presence of phenolic compounds and alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, steroids, and phenols.
