The pulsing treatments were arranged in a 2 × 4 × 3 factorial combinations that included STS (0 or 0.225 mM), CHOs (0, D+ Sucrose (20 g l-1), D- Glucose or D- Fructose (10 g l-1) each) and BIOs ( 0, Al2(SO4)3 (1 g-1) or HQS (0.4 ml l-1), in Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with three replications.

Mr. Elias Mekonnen had joined Mekele University and graduated from the department of Dryland Crop and Horticultural Science. He worked in Metrolux Flower P.L.C., and in Upper Awash Agro Industry Enterprise as an agriculturist. Currenty, he is working in Adama University as lecturer in the department of Plant Science-Horticilture.
