Causes of CNS diseases are trauma, infection, degeneration, autoimmune disorders, tumors and stroke. CNS disorders include abnormalities in both physical and psychological domains. The results of present study concludes that the MEBM exhibited significant antidepressant activity rather than anxiolytic action. Further studies are necessary to elucidate the mechanism behind it's traditional effects.
