To tackle these problems, it is imperative that alternative fuels are recommended for use in powering automobiles in Nigeria. In this book, performance analyses of compressed natural gas as public transport fuel in Nigeria are conducted which include: technical analyses, flow assurance analyses, economic analyses, environmental impact assessment and the development of a software for simpler analyses of the project. From the studies, it's seen that for public transportation in Nigeria, CNG would be a better and more environmental-friendly fuel than the conventional fuels.
