In the present study entitled "Evaluation of Hematological, Biochemical and Histopathological Effects of Tartrazine Food Dye on Swiss Albino Mice" the subject matter has been presented in step by step systematic manner. Tetrazine is an artificial meals dye which is used to make foods greater aesthetically appealing from a visual point of view. These dyes can be used to create shades not feasible with herbal merchandise as well as to reinstate the unique appearance of a food which may be misplaced inside the production procedure. Artificial food dyes are also often less expensive and extra handy than natural food dyes. Here, the aim of the author has been to strike a good balance between quantity of food dyes in our food and minimizing its adverse effects. While writing the book, the authors have attempted to follow a very common language by which information can be imparted to the society, researchers and students in a very simplified manner.

Dr Geeta Devi Meena is presently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Zoology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur (Rajasthan). She has completed her Graduation, post-Graduation and PhD degree from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She earlier served as Assistant Professor in one of the reputed institute of western Rajasthan i.e. JNVU.
