The objective of this M.sc dissertation is about Sistani cattle as one of the most important cattle in the country of Iran. Evaluation of quantitative and molecular genetic approach is required for designing of any breeding strategy in this breed. Arash Javanmard pursued his MSc in Animal Genetics and Breeding at Tehran University. The author received his Ph.D. on the same program at University Putra Malaysia in 2012. Currently, he is researcher in Laboratory of Animal Biotechnology, Animal Science Research Institute of IRAN.
