The investigations on evaluation of management options for brinjal shoot and fruit borer (L. orbonalis Guenee) was conducted in laboratory as well as on research farm of Department of Agricultural Entomology VNMKV, Parbhani during kharif 2018 The seasonal incidence of major sucking pest was appeared July to December and maximum number population of Aphids 42th SMW (15.1 aphids/3 leaves), leafhopper 37th SMW (11.8 leafhopper/3 leaves) and Whitefly 43th SMW (23.4 whitefly/3 leaves) were incidence of mites observed in 47th .SMW The maximum infestation of shoot and fruit borer on shoot recorded in 41th SMW (14.5%) and on fruits 47th SMW (35.1%).The mass trapping of shoot and fruit borer The maximum moth catch was recorded at 51th SMW with mean number 15 moths per traps followed by at 46th SMW with 12.71 moths per trap.The evaluation of alternative and effective management options for brinjal shoot and fruit borer The minimum shoot infestation where found in treatment of emamectin benzoate 5% SG which were significantly superior all over the treatment followed by NSKE @ and pruning at weekly interval, pongamia oil 5% all were statistically at par with each other.
