Based on the present findings it can be concluded that the mango cultivar Ratna, Arunika and Amrapali had shown the dwarfing behaviour, while, the Cv. Langra showed the vigorous growth under Tarai region of Uttarakhand. The higher percentage of hermaphrodite flowers and lower per cent of fruit drop was observed in Pusa Arunima and Ambika. The Cvs. Mallika and Neelgoa were found superior in terms of fruit weight, size, pulp weight and pulp stone ratio, while, the Cvs. Amrapali excelled in terms of total sugar and carotenoides. However, the long term investigation on the basis of vegetative growth, flowering, fruiting, and qualitative parameters in different cultivars of mango need to be studied further to arrive at valid conclusion.
