Marigold is ideal for cultivation as pot plant for garden display and as a bedding plan. it has important role in preparation of garlands, bouquets and for floral decoration at the time of marriages and other ceremonies. it has also gained industrial importance due to its huge potential in value addition. Hence, to fulfill the demand of traders, consumers and industrialists, it is necessary to increase its production. This book ''Evaluation of marigold genotypes" is an attempt to examine the evaluation of different marigold genotypes on growth and yield, to determine the suitable the marigold genotypes to obtain maximum growth and yield of African Marigold. In Vidarbha region variability of marigold is considerably high. Number of local genotypes which differs in size and shape of flowers, are under cultivation in different districts and their productivity varies from season to season and district to district.
