Although there is so much literature on terrorism and attacks around the world, but there seems to be dearth of literature on the Boko Haram activities in Nigeria; particularly with regards to news frames used by media organizations. This book found it interesting to evaluate the pattern of news frames in the quality of frequency of reports selected Nigeria newspapers presented about the attacks by the sect; prominence given to the reports; and the type of frames used. The findings give focus to the best way of interpreting and investigating issues in a crisis situation.
