High blood pressure often causes no symptoms. Over time, if left untreated, it can lead to health problems such as cardiovascular disease. The cardiovascular risk factors identified are: gender, blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, glomerular filtration rate, creatinine and uraemia. And the presence of these exponentially increases the risk of hypertension. A healthier diet, regular exercise and medication can all help to lower blood pressure.

Born in Nyankunde on 30-12-1980. Graduated in General Medicine, University of Goma, DR Congo, 2010; recruited in October 2012 at the Evangelical Medical Centre of Nyankunde as attending physician; Head of Medical Staff, enrolled in 2018 at the School of Public Health of the University of Kinshasa for the Master II in Intervention Epidemiology.
