Introduction: Post-introduction evaluation of vaccines is standard practice in the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) within the healthcare system. It must be carried out within a well-defined period of time, between 6 and 18 months after the start of vaccination. Senegal has introduced Covid-19 vaccines into its immunization program through a national Covid-19 vaccine deployment plan since February 26, 2021. To our knowledge, no assessment has yet been carried out to evaluate the Covid-19 vaccine deployment plan in Senegal's expanded immunization program. This study enabled us to assess the situation two years after the deployment of these vaccines. Methods: This was a cross-sectional evaluative study carried out from July 02 to 14, 2023 in the Dakar medical region at all levels of the health pyramid, among the players involved in immunization (Prevention Directorate, Dakar medical region, three health districts and 8 immunization sites) to assess the preparation and implementation of the national plan for the deployment of Covid-19 vaccines in the expanded program on immunization in Senegal.
