The aim of this study was to assess the level of occupational stress of Family Health Strategy nurses. This is an analytical cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. An interview was conducted with 56 Family Health Strategy nurses from the north and northwest regions of the city of Goiânia/GO. Two questionnaires were used, one for occupational sociodemographics and the other to assess stress at work. A descriptive analysis of the variables was carried out using mean, frequency and standard deviation. The scores for each question on the scale were then calculated, as well as the overall stress score. The test used to assess whether or not there was a statistically significant difference (p 0.05) between independent samples and multiple variables was analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the higher the age, the higher the level of irritation about the organizational situation. In terms of gender, the research showed that women made up 94.6% of the sample, and that the stress factor was directly related to the supervisor not assigning them important responsibilities.
